I looked up the AGT6 and it is the blond with gray eyes. Are you talking about AGT15? I just saw one of those with a BIN of $59.99 this morning.
I know that alot of people refer to this doll as the "Holy Grail" of AG retired and hard to find things. But I have decided that I want this doll. She is so pretty with her Jet black hair and nice brown eyes.
She is very rare and HTF on ebay. When people do find her she goes for quite a bit of money. I don't have the time to check ebay every minute of every hour but I do check periodically.
Has anyone see one lately on ebay and are there many of you here who want her too? Just wanted to know what my competition is...lol Does any one here have her by the way?? Would love to see pics her too.

No I'm referring to the retired/discontinued version. agt-6 was origianlly Black hair w/ brown eyes.

I used to have one...a few years ago I bought one on eBay, NRFB, for about $100 and sold her a few months later for $160-something. A good profit, but now I am searching for one for my own collection and it's unlikely I'll ever find a NRFB one. She is quite pretty in person but I can understand why she was the first one retired - her coloring was so unusual that I don't think very many real girls have that coloring and picked her as a "mini-me." Personally, I only want her because of her scarcity and the fact that I had one once and let her go...I think there are many AGTs that are much prettier that I'd choose over her if she wasn't retired.

going back to my own holiday '95 catalogue, there are some with hazel eyes, but they look *exactly* the same as in my spring '06 catalogue where AGT9 is listed as "gray eyes," and all the dolls with hazel eyes are now listed as gray, there doesn't appear to be any difference in them whatsoever, does anyone know if they just changed the name of the eye color?
AGT10 is one of my favorites, with the dark hair and green eyes. I wish they wouldn't retire the actual dolls. AGT10 doesn't seem to come up on ebay too often, either, so I understand your feelings. But have you considered rewigging another brown eyed doll with a black wig? She is a cute doll [img]smile.gif[/img]

The first AGT6 was only available for two years. Mine is shown in this album -- she's the girl in pink in the middle. Her name is Cailin.
